This is a Five Part Beginner's Guide about Article Marketing. Article Marketing is one of the best and most cost
effective ways of publicity or promotion for a home business.
It's become extremely popular because of the emergence of the Internet and Article directories and the fact that
it relatively expense free.
Many people find it difficult to write citing a list of excuses, however we
have put together this free series on the basics of article writing.
Introduction
You
can be an Internet publisher within 60 minutes.
Sounds too good to be
true.
It's
not.
There are tens of thousands of
author/publishers on the Internet today.
That does not necessarily mean that they are talented, it just means that they took the initiative and started
to write about something that was important to them, something that they were familiar with and knew inside
out.
I
can only guess that they wanted recognition for a specific reason.
This
could be several things,
A,
They wanted to draw attention to something specific. This could be an event or an organization or a
cause.
B,
They wanted to share an interest in, but not a product or service, something that they like to do or have an
interest in. This could be a hobby or a sport.
Or
C, They wanted to create interest in a product or a website that they are interested in
promoting.
The
first point of this audio series is to help you find that topic and put it down on paper and then publish it on
the Internet. The second point is to show you how to capitalize on your article writing and use it to your
advantage for recognition and to draw traffic to your site.
The
main point of this audio series is that anyone can write and publish on the Internet. and
even
though you don't write for a living, you can write and be published or self published on the
Internet.
Lets
get started.
Part 1:
Part 1: How To Pick a
Topic.
Here are a list of potential Article Topics to help
you.,
- Hobbies, this is an
obvious one but overlooked by many people starting to write.
- Work or Career
related. Some of you may be working for companies that prohibit you from writing about anything that has to
do with your job. If that's the case don't write about your job. If you do decide to write, then use a
pseudonym. It's very common among writers. So common in fact, that the use of a pseudonym is allowed
on U.S. copyright forms.
- Personal issues. Are
you a single mother or father? Have you recently gone through a divorce? Are you happily married? These are
all topics that you may have experience with and you have an interesting slant on. For example, Let's say
that you are happily married for along time. You could share how you personally stay in a happy
marriage.
- Sports, Do you play
any sports. Are you an avid, golfer, tennis player, ice skater, softball player or bowler? If you are
really good perhaps you can share some tips.
- Running, jogging or
power-walking tips or experiences.
- Movies. Start your own
blog about movies. Reviews, Ratings etc. Use the Blog as the basis for the article and talk about what
issues you find most important.
- Trivia, Once Again a
Blog may be the best focul point.
- Automobiles, Classics,
Street Rods, Stock cars Drag Racing. I
once had a though about writing an automobile detailing book because I was pretty good at
it.
