Are you frustrated trying to earn pennies with Adsense? Or perhaps you are blowing good money every month promoting clickbank product? Here are some tips you can apply that are bound to improve you earnings and return on investment.

Adsense

1)What are the best position of placing an ad? Speaking from personal experience, I have found placing the ads at the beginning or/and at the end of a content or articles is very profitable.

2)How do you get a higher Click-through rate? You have to obviously blend your ads into the overall theme of your site. You cannot have an ad that screams 'AD!' and expect a high Click-Through Rate. At the same time, do not blend your links into the colour of your words. Leave them at blue, as blue has traditionally been the colour of links.

Adwords

1)Use split testing Within an ad group itself, create AT LEAST 2 ads. The ad views will be split amongst them. Click on ‘create text ad'. Why? To test which ad copy work better and has a higher click rate.

2)Bid smartly As a rule of thumb, I always bid as low as possible and work on my ad copy (forces you to write better copies) to increase my ranking rather then just bid your way through.
