Most often encouragement will be kudos for work done. Encouragement comes in all types of forms.
Be a home business mentor who has a gift of words of praise and recognition for others on a regular basis. I'm amazed at how many people have been told they are no good and will never amount to anything.

I didn't grow up under that negative umbrella so it's really hard for me to relate, but I have fostered many children and I see the low self esteem they come with from the homes they've been in. Words of encouragement are life giving.

They are calming, soothing, and really are medicine for the soul and spirit. Here are some thoughts and ideas of life giving words of encouragement that any home based mentor can speak into someone's life.

Reminding someone they have a purpose in life and that they are not a mistake;

Reminding someone they have greatness inside screaming to come out;

Reminding them that God doesn't plant dreams hearts without giving them a way to make it happen.

Reminding someone of their value to others.

Tell someone to 'keep up the great work, I'm so proud of you. You rock.'

Really, simply caring for others in a genuine way is the Golden Rule. People don't care how much you know, until they know how much they care. Sometimes you'll want to take an extra minute or two with one of your business partners or coaching students just to care. You will be a light in the darkness. Your kindness will be remembered.

Your gift of encouragement to someone will go a long way.

Pat people on the back for getting their content out online.

Give kudos for every little thing someone does as they implement.

Give a listening ear when appropriate.

Let people know they matter and make a difference to others.

Remind people how valuable they are.
