5 Tips To Make Money On Line

Getting started writing articles is very a simple and incredibly effective way to drive traffic to your website, generate some sales and start making money on line. Once you understand the basics, there will be no stopping you and you will be able to churn out articles faster then you can make a copy of coffee. Here are 5 tips to get you started.

Tip 1 - Know Your Audience

Who are you targeting? Who do you want to read your articles? Find out what makes that target market tick and tailor your wording to them.

Tip 2 - Tell don't sell

Give something away for free, give some advice, make your readers want more. Engage the reader and encourage them to read more. This comes back to knowing your audience and knowing what they want to read.

Tip 3 - Write from the heart

I find it much easier to be honest and just be myself. The words flow much easier then trying to write something that I do not believe in. If you are suffering from writers block, write as if you were talking to a friend. If necessary, chat to a friend and get them to type what you say. You need to believe in what you are writing as if you are truly honest, it will come across in the text.

Tip 4 - Keep it brief

My father used to say "I would have written you a shorter letter, if I had more time". Keep it short, keep it brief, keep it relevant. Make it easy to read and make it a pleasure to read. Remember, you are writing to make money on line, not to bore people into submission. The article needs to be between 400 - 600 words and keep it to short, structured sentences.

Tip 5 - Focus on your key word

Know your numbers. What is your keyword? Have you done your research with Goggle first? Get your key phrase into your article, the heading and the resource box at the end. Article submissions and article marketing is not complicated once you know how it works. Google has lots of free information about working out your keyword numbers and metrics.

If you key word is too prolific, the article directories will not allow you to submit the article so make sure that the article is written around the key word and that it does not take over. Its easy to make money on line using these techniques.  

Article marketing is not as comp;lex as it seems. Its free! That's the best bit. For maximum effect, I use an article submission tool that allows me to submit to hundreds of search engines at the same time and catalogues my articles for me. This is a tool that I absolutely cannot live without and neither can you if you are truly serious about making money on line.
