Editor's Note:
This is an interesting article that discusses the value of personalized marketing as a way of keeping the
door open long enough to deliver the sales pitch. Most individuals have become immune to the barage of emails
that come into the email inbox each day, however the is a right approach and a wrong approach the the author
discusses here.
If you have owned your business for a long time or for a short time, you have probably
tried every single trick and tactic in the book as far as marketing goes. Frankly, I believe there is a right way
and an easy way and a wrong way and a hard way. I don't know about you, but I would rather NOT do tings the wrong
way or the hard way. Not saying that marketing is simple because it's not. But if you can figure out certain
techniques to use for your specific industry, you could be making a killing right now.

In my time as an "employee", I saw many business plans being written. I often wondered why a business plan was
being written over and over again. And then it hit me, creating an action plan (or a business plan) is actually a
roadmap to success.
I have been implementing business plans in my online home based businesses ever since I had that revelation, and my
sales and income rocketed.

Becoming A Personal Trainer - Top 10 Things I Wish I'd Learned Earlier

Editor's Note:
A home based business that many of us neglect to think about is becoming a personal trainer. Granted it's
not for everyone but so many of us are constantly working out or running or jogging that we forget to think about
it as a potential home business. Thor Holt writes a great article about what not to do if when starting a personal
training business.
What qualifies me to write this? Well, I've been at it 15 years now. Surviving that long and prospering in this
business is exceptional, just ask all the ex trainers!
I was a personal trainer when it was still virtually unheard of in the UK. Back then people in the gym game would
tell me it couldn't work...not enough clients, American concept - won't work here... you won't make it pay.
